Blienschwiller, overlooked by the slopes of Ungersberg, is a very ancient village. In 750, the nephew of Etichon, St. Odile's father, built a castle there. The first peasant revolt was sparked in this village in 1493.
A wine-growing village par-excellence, Blienschwiller not only attracts many visitors, it makes them want to stay.

The St. Erasmus chapel was a place of prayer for those suffering from abdominal pain. Nowadays, and thanks to the quality of the wine produced in this village, these prayers are no longer necessary. |
