You will stop off in the little town of Wissembourg with its treasures to be found in every nook and cranny along the cobbled streets : the red sandstone of Saint Peter and Paul Abbey church (13th century), the fascinating Salt House and the picturesque Bruch quarter on the banks of the river Lauter.
And if your head isn't in the clouds by the end of your walk, then it certainly will be after taking off with experienced pilots to get a bird's eye view of Wissembourg and the surrounding strongholds in a motorized glider or a Piper plane. When you come back down to earth, you can take a closer look at the impressive ruins of Fleckenstein, explore charming villages like Seebach and Hunspach and visit the wine cellars
of Cleebourg where you won't resist tasting Alsatian wine.
